AI BTTS Predictions — Both Teams To Score
Published before kickoff, settled automatically, and kept on the record whether they win or lose.
Both Teams To Score, usually shortened to BTTS, asks a single question about a football match: did both sides find the net? Punter Insight publishes AI-derived BTTS selections before kickoff, compares each one against the prices available in the market, and keeps every settled selection in a public results record — the losing ones included.
BTTS verified performance
Every window above is fixed rather than chosen for looking good, and each states the sample it rests on. Flat stakes at the odds recorded before kickoff; a negative period is printed as a negative period. Every settled BTTS selection, including losses, remains in the public results record. A void is a match that did not settle as scheduled. It returns the stake and counts as neither a win nor a loss, here or in any figure above.
Today's BTTS fixtures
Punter Insight has analysed 1 fixture kicking off today for the BTTS market, across 1 league: Primeira Liga.
The selections themselves — which side of the market, the model's probability, the edge against the price and the recommended odds — are part of the subscription while a fixture is still open. They become public the moment they settle, which is what the record above is made of. See pricing and the free trial, or browse today's published predictions.
What BTTS means
BTTS Yes wins when both teams score at least one goal. BTTS No wins when at least one team fails to score. Nothing else about the match matters — not the winner, not the margin, only whether each side got on the scoresheet.
How Punter Insight analyses BTTS
A BTTS probability is really two questions at once: how likely is the home side to score, and how likely is the away side to score. The models read each team's attacking output and its defensive concession rate, kept separate for home and away rather than averaged together, because a side that scores freely at home and rarely away is two different teams for this market. Expected goals sit alongside the raw counts so that a run of narrow results is not mistaken for a change in quality, and recent form is weighted towards what a squad is doing now.
The resulting probability is then compared with the prices available in the market. A selection is published only where the model and the market disagree by enough to be worth recording — the point is not to predict every match, it is to find the ones where the price looks wrong. Read the full methodology.
Goals markets overlap: a match where both sides score is often a match with goals in it. The same fixtures are assessed for Over 2.5 goals, with its own separate record.
Why this BTTS record can be checked
- Recorded before kickoff. Each selection is timestamped and published before the match starts, so nothing can be added once the result is known.
- The odds are kept. The price at the time of publication is stored with the selection, which is what the ROI figures above are calculated from.
- Settled automatically. Outcomes are resolved against the final score, not chosen by hand.
- Losing selections stay. Nothing is removed for performing badly, which is why the table above contains losses.
- Voids stay voids. A match that did not settle as scheduled counts as neither a win nor a loss and keeps its page.
- Fixture pages remain accessible. Every match linked above keeps its permanent address after it settles.

BTTS questions
What does BTTS mean?
BTTS stands for Both Teams To Score. BTTS Yes wins when both sides score at least one goal. BTTS No wins when at least one side fails to score.
How are Punter Insight BTTS predictions generated?
Statistical models read each side's attacking output and defensive concession rates, separated by home and away context, alongside expected goals and recent form. The resulting probability is compared with available market prices, and a selection is published only where the model and the market disagree enough to be worth recording.
Are BTTS prediction results public?
Yes. Every settled BTTS selection stays in the public results record, including the losing ones, with the odds recorded before kickoff.
Does a 0-0 result count as BTTS?
No. 0-0 means neither side scored, so BTTS Yes loses and BTTS No wins.
How often are BTTS predictions published?
Predictions are produced for qualifying fixtures as each day's schedule is analysed, and published before kickoff. Some days produce several BTTS selections and some produce none.
Are BTTS selections guaranteed?
No. No prediction is guaranteed. BTTS selections lose regularly, those losses stay on the public record, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
