A void is a match that did not settle as scheduled. It returns the stake and counts as neither a win nor a loss, here or in any figure above.
Today's Under 2.5 fixtures

Some days produce several Under 2.5 selections and some produce none; a fixture is only published where the model and the market disagree enough to be worth recording. See today's published predictions.
What Under 2.5 means
Under 2.5 goals wins when the two teams combine for two goals or fewer, so a match finishing 0–0, 1–0 or 1–1 all settle as a win. Over 2.5 goals wins when they manage three or more. Goals from both teams count towards the same total, and it does not matter who scores them or who wins the match. The half number exists so the bet cannot end level — there is no such thing as exactly 2.5 goals.
How Punter Insight analyses Under 2.5
Under 2.5 is the same question as a goals total read from the other end, and it is the harder end to model: one late goal turns a winning selection into a losing one, so the market punishes a model that is merely close. The models read each side's attacking output against the rate at which its opponents concede, kept separate for home and away rather than averaged, and set that against expected goals so a run of tight scorelines is not mistaken for a defence that has genuinely improved. Match tempo matters here more than raw table position: two sides who defend deep and take few risks produce a different goal expectation from two who trade chances, even when the league table has them level.
The resulting probability is compared with the prices available in the market, and a selection is published only where the model and the market disagree by enough to be worth recording. Under 2.5 and Over 2.5 are kept as separate records with separate figures — they are not two views of one number. Read the full methodology.
Under 2.5 and Over 2.5 goals are opposite sides of the same total, assessed on the same fixtures, and each keeps its own separate record — a strong period for one is not evidence about the other.
Why this Under 2.5 record can be checked
- Recorded before kickoff. Each selection is timestamped and published before the match starts, so nothing can be added once the result is known.
- The odds are kept. The price at the time of publication is stored with the selection, which is what the ROI figures above are calculated from.
- Settled automatically. Outcomes are resolved against the final score, not chosen by hand.
- Losing selections stay. Nothing is removed for performing badly, which is why the table above contains losses.
- Voids stay voids. A match that did not settle as scheduled counts as neither a win nor a loss and keeps its page.
- Fixture pages remain accessible. Every match linked above keeps its permanent address after it settles.

Under 2.5 questions
What does Under 2.5 goals mean?
Under 2.5 goals wins when a match finishes with two goals or fewer in total, counting both teams together. Over 2.5 wins when it produces three or more.
How many goals can be scored for Under 2.5 to win?
Two at most. A 0-0, 1-0 or 1-1 result wins; a third goal, by either side, loses it. The half number exists so the bet cannot end level.
How are Punter Insight Under 2.5 predictions generated?
Statistical models read each side's attacking output against the rate at which its opponents concede, separated by home and away context, alongside expected goals, recent form and match tempo. The resulting probability is compared with available market prices, and a selection is published only where the model and the market disagree enough to be worth recording.
Are historical Under 2.5 results public?
Yes. Every settled Under 2.5 selection stays in the public results record, including the losing ones, with the odds recorded before kickoff. The figures on this page are the whole record, not a selected window.
How often are Under 2.5 predictions published?
Predictions are produced for qualifying fixtures as each day's schedule is analysed, and published before kickoff. Under 2.5 qualifies less often than the other goals markets, so some weeks produce very few selections and some produce none.
Are Under 2.5 predictions guaranteed?
No. No prediction is guaranteed. Under 2.5 selections lose regularly, those losses stay on the public record, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
